In today’s multi-generational workplace, effective communication is the key to unlocking the full potential of a diverse team. This session, led by Emma Jordan, Vice President of Professional Services at Specialized Staffing, will provide HR professionals with the tools and insights needed to navigate generational diversity and leverage the unique strengths each generation brings to the table.

The discussion will focus on understanding the distinct communication styles and preferences of different generations, from Baby Boomers to Gen Z, and how this understanding can be used to enhance employee engagement and retention. With communication often cited as the top area for improvement in the workplace, this session will empower HR professionals to act as relationship brokers, fostering a cohesive and productive work environment.

Emma Jordan holds a BA in Communication Studies from Ball State University and an MA in Strategic Corporate Communication Studies from Purdue University. She is a certified Human Resources professional (SHRM-CP) with a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. With her extensive experience in strategic corporate communication and her work with over 300 organizations, Emma will share her expertise in designing and implementing dynamic communication strategies from the perspective of the Human Resources professional. This session will equip HR professionals with the knowledge to become effective communicators and leaders, ultimately contributing to the coveted identity of an Employer of Choice.
